1. Unofficial Civic Opinion Poll

AbiaVoters is an independent, non-partisan public opinion poll operated by [operator name]. It is not an official election and does not predict or certify official election results. AbiaVoters is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) or any registered political party in Nigeria.

2. One-Vote-Per-Race Participation Policy

Participants agree to cast no more than one ballot per electoral contest (Governor, Senate, House of Representatives, State House of Assembly). Any attempt to manipulate results through automated scripts, botnets, VPN proxy farms, device spoofing, or denial-of-service is strictly prohibited. Submissions exhibiting suspicious network or device patterns will be quarantined in an audit queue or rejected.

3. Location Verification & Accuracy

Hardware GPS location sharing is completely optional. If shared, coordinates are evaluated ephemerally in volatile memory to check ward polygon boundaries and determine trust tiers (Verified vs. Located). Exact latitude and longitude are never saved or stored.

4. Privacy & Data Protection (NDPA)

Data collection complies with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA). We do not collect names, phone numbers, or national identity numbers. Non-identifying device parameters and truncated subnets are hashed one-way using HMAC-SHA256 solely to prevent duplicate voting. For full transparency, view our Privacy & Data Audit.

5. Public Results & Data License

Ward boundaries are derived from GRID3 NGA Operational Wards v3.0 (Columbia University / CIESIN) under CC BY-SA 4.0. Live aggregates and rankings are provided "as is" for public transparency and civic education without warranty of any kind.
